The search for the Mister and Miss Good Shepherd Ambassadors 2025 officially commenced with its Preliminary Competition last August 10 at the Cathedral-Shrine and Parish of the Good Shepherd, showcasing the poise, intelligence, and talent of the 25 official candidates.
The day began at 9:00 a.m. with a closed-door interview, where candidates faced a distinguished panel of judges:
Ms. Marlan S. Manguba, Past District Governor of Lions Clubs International, Mrs. World Philippines 2014, and Top 10 finalist at Mrs. World International in Maryland, USA;
Sister Stella Maris Catayas, BPS, Parish Pastoral Worker;
Mark Lee Gatchalian, Public Speaker and Q&A Trainer;
Alyssa Mildred Villariña, Miss Global Universe Philippines 2025.
In the afternoon, the Press Presentation at 4:00 p.m. brought candidates to the spotlight before friends from the media, highlighting their advocacy and personality ahead of the finals.
The excitement continued into the evening with the Talent Competition at 7:00 p.m., hosted by beauty queen Alyssa Mildred Villariña and singer Mike Villamor. Candidates delivered powerful performances before a panel of esteemed judges:
Jhay Torres, Mr. SM Health and Wellness Ambassador, singer, commercial model, and professional TV host;
Ivy Nuqui, Bb. Pilipinas 2025 Top 12 finalist, Miss Caloocan 2025, theater actress, and UP Theater Arts student;
Ralmon Mendoza, Viva artist, actor, dancer, and Eat Bulaga’s “Macho Man” winner;
Bianca Mae Hernandez, Magna Cum Laude graduate of UST in Tourism Management, Binibining Pilipinas 2025 candidate, model, and entrepreneur;
André Manguba, dance artist, visual artist, illustrator, and online content creator, Cum Laude graduate of La Salle–College of St. Benilde.
At the end of the night, the Top 3 Best in Talent were announced, from male category candidate numbers 10 Mariano Lipayon III, 8 John Paul Juanillo, 4 Lorry James Moneño, from female category are candidate numbers 12 Mary Grace Lumactod, 2 Catherene Olarte, 11 Stephanie Kyle Eleogo, marking an early highlight in the competition and setting the stage for the much-awaited finals.
The Coronation Night will take place on August 24, 6:00 p.m. at Celebrity Club, featuring special guests Hannah Arnold (Binibining Pilipinas International 2021), Juma Matar del Mundo (King of the World Philippines – Charity 2025), Lhar Santiago (entertainment journalist), Ameer Almamari (MYX VJ), and Sofia Galve (Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism 2021).
