May 10, 2025 — Quezon City — The heart of Fishermall Theater beat with pure P-Pop power last night as Asterisk Entertainment rolled out the red carpet for the highly anticipated music video premiere of ASTER’s “ASTAR.” Months after the track first hit our playlists, fans — affectionately known as Twinkles — finally got to witness the full visual spectacle. And believe me, it was worth every second of the wait.
As a long-time supporter of Original Pilipino Music and an advocate for the growing P-Pop movement, I felt right at home amidst the vibrant crowd. Thanks to a kind invitation from Kristian Kabigting, ASTER’s ever-passionate manager, I had the privilege of covering the event firsthand — and what a night it was.

ASTER’s journey is one of perseverance, purpose, and pure heart. Born from the 2022–2023 survival show Dream Maker, the group didn’t just chase dreams — they built them from the ground up. Officially debuting on July 7, 2024, with the infectious bop “BINGO”, ASTER quickly carved a space in the hearts of P-Pop fans nationwide.
Their newest release, “ASTAR,” is more than a song — it’s a statement.
